 WELCOME to DAAI

The Diploma in Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (DAAI) is a year long distance learning, hybrid course offered in India.  DAAI is a unique distance learning  course with  quarterly  week long Personal Contact Sessions (PCS) throughout the year. The course begins in January of the calendar year and ends in December.  

DAAI is a post graduate certificate course offered by International Asthma Services (IAS) a charitable educational institution based in Colorado, USA, Bharati Vidyapeeth (BV) (Deemed University),Pune INDIA & Institute of Allergy-Kolkata (IA-K). The course is endorsed by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) as well as cosponsored by the Center for global health, College of Preventive Medicine, University of Colorado, USA.

 Pediatricians, ENT Specialists, Pulmonologists, Dermatologists, General physicians, Preventive Medicine specialists are eligible to apply after completing their  post graduate education. A few seats are offered to MBBS candidates with minimum 5 years of practical and academic experience in the field of allergy.

DAAI will be based out of Kolkata, West Bengal, INDIA under Dr Shambo S Samajdar (Director), Dr Pudupakkam K Vedanthan (Co-Director), Dr Santanu K Tripathi (Co-Director),  Dr Saibal Moitra (Honorary Chief Academic advisor), Dr Krishna Mohan (Honorary Joint Academic advisor), and an Advisory Committee listed under the DAAI team.
